How our training is different
Can your dog sit, down, place, and walk nicely on a leash? Can your dog come when called? But most importantly, can your dog do these things in highly distracting environments while remaining attentive to you?
Dogs that go through our program don't just listen because they have to, they listen because they want to. Our training taps into your dog's natural want for food (aka, their food drive). We teach you how to use your dog's daily meals as your main training tool. You'll have a hungry dog who is excited to listen, work, and learn!

We focus on setting up dogs for success and reinforcing that through their food and directional leash cues from the handler. In private sessions, you will be hands-on with your dog. With the direction of the trainer, you will work with your dog to really learn sit, down, place, and loose leash walking in all kinds of environments with multiple kinds of distractions.
Private lessons are perfect for families with new puppies, dogs that want to learn basic obedience, and owners who want to work one-on-one with their dogs. Our private sessions include homework for the owner to make sure you can achieve your training goals.
In board and trains, we do the hard stuff for you. We work with your dog multiple times a day to help them achieve success. Your dog will receive multiple hours of hands-on training and enrichment. Board and trains also come with 3 follow-up lessons to teach the owner how they can keep up with their dog's new training.

**We are not a pure positive training program. While we are still extremely loving, we believe in setting rules and boundaries for our dogs. While we try to avoid using tools, such as prong collars, some clients and dogs may require them. Our goal is to only use these as training tools. The goal of our program is that you will not have to use them forever.**
